"Low yields from this unique vineyard lead to highly ripe grapes and a wine with multi-layered aromas and a concentrated body."
The Hohenberg Vineyard gets its name from the mighty loess hill on which it is planted. Even during Grandfather’s time, it was famed as one of the best vineyards in the region. The Josef Ehmoser Winery owns the largest share of vines in this site on a southeast-facing slope at 340 metres altitude. The Hohenberg yields complex, full-bodied wines. The lower filet piece of the vineyard in particular possesses the ideal preconditions for a wine of inimitable regional character.
